Here’s a behind the scenes look at the fashion editorial we shot for Beverly Hills Lifestyle magazine in Joshua Tree. Late last year I was hired to shoot an ad for OPI in partnership with Disney Pictures for the upcoming Pirates of the Caribbean movie, On Stranger Tides. OPI promotes new nail colors with new films quite often. It was definitely a departure from my usual shoots, but it was definitely a fun gig. The mermaid suit you see in the behind the scenes shots is hand made by the guy who actually created the mermaid costume for Daryl Hannah in the 80’s movie Splash with Tom Hanks. Last week i had the opportunity of working with a new art director, Jamie Breuer, on a fashion editorial for Beverly Hills Lifestyle Magazine.
